A baby shower is not a shower without the fun baby shower games. Any shower you attend, whether it is a bridal or a baby shower, there will be fun games. So, get the gifts, friends, and mother-to-be in a room and Let the Games Begin.

Listed below is a list of games and instructions about how to play each. HAVE FUN!!!

GUESS THE MEASUREMENT........
Shower attendees all gather in a room. Gain a ball of yarn. Each attendee is then told to cut a snip of yarn that they believe will fit around the mother-to-be's waist. Each attendee then takes turns trying the yarn on the mother-to-be. The player with the closest guess wins the prize.

BABY MOLD.........
Attendees are given a small amount of Play dough. Each player is to create, to their expertise, their greatest mold of a baby made of Play dough. Have each player put their initials on the mold. Insert each mold into a box. Let the attendees judge each mold by round of applause. The player with the greatest amount of applause is the winner.

RECALL GAME........
Place baby items on a tray, in a box, or on a table. Have each player go around and look at the tray, box, or table. Have the player leave the area from which the items are located. Give the players at least 2 minutes to recall the items on the table, box, or tray. The player with the most correct items wins.

DON'T SAY "BABY"...........
As the attendees arrive, each person is given a safety pin or clothespin. Instruct them to clamp the safety pin or clothespin onto their shirt. Let them know that they are playing a game and they cannot say the word "Baby". Let them know the consequences of saying the word " "Baby". If the attendee is caught saying the word "Baby", the person who hears them saying the word "Baby" gains the safety pin or clothespin. The game becomes even more fun when you began to try to trick someone into saying the word "Baby". At the end of the shower, the person who gained the most pins wins.

TICKET RAFFLE GAME..........
We all want to leave the shower with a gift. We all want to be the winner of something. So, calculate the number of guests. Buy a variety of gifts. Number the gifts accordingly. Give each guest a number as they enter the door of the baby shower. Make sure that they remember to keep up with their number. At the end of the baby shower, call out the number of the gifts. Each guest is given the gift that matches their ticket number. In this game, everyone is a winner!!

BABY PICTURE GUESSING GAME.........
Instruct each guest to bring along with them a baby picture of themselves. Number the pictures. On a piece of paper, write down the names and numbers of each picture. Stick each picture onto a poster board or bulletin board. Point out a picture. Have the guests to guess whose baby picture it is. Have someone keep count of which player gets an answer correct. Players cannot answer to their own picture. The guest who guesses the most pictures correctly wins.

POCKET CHANGE............
Sit a piggy bank on the table in the center of the circle. Have ladies to form a circle in the center of the room around the table. Ask the ladies pull out their pocket change. Just incase, have some extra change only someone pocket or purse may be empty. Everyone takes a turn at mentioning something they have never done before---never kissed a man with a beard, never gone to a spa, never gone on a vacation, never shopped alone, etc. Everyone who has done the mentioned thing must put a coin into the piggy bank. Once everyone has had a turn, give the piggy bank to the mother-to-be. Notify her that this is the unborn child's first piggy bank.

UNINVITED GUEST SKIT..........
This game is very funny. The host invites a guest but pretends not to know she is invited. The guest will not show up at the beginning of the shower but will show up in time for the first game. The guest barges in on the shower. She is dressed in funny clothing and is carrying a large purse with "goodies" inside. The "goodies" are baby items. The host pretends to be upset by the interruption and demands to see her invitation. The guest sits on the floor and begins to pull "goodies" out of the purse one by one placing the items on the floor. Finally, she finds the invitation hidden in the bottom of the purse and shows it to the host. The host is pleased with the invitation and says that the guest can hang about. The guest packs the items back into the purse and joins the party. Now the host issues everyone except the guest and the honoree a piece of paper. She then alerts everyone that this was game and that they have to write down every "goodie" that the guest had in the purse. They have a time limit of 2-3 minutes. Whoever guesses the most correct "goodies" is the winner. Afterwards, the mother-to-be is given the "goodie" bag. This is the most fun baby shower game ever!!!
